The Instant Sound Limiter has been designed in response to demand for a low cost, easy to install solution to the growing problem of noise complaints. It has been approved by many environmental health departments.

The unit is housed in a tough steel case fitted with 2.2 metres of mains cable and a 13 amp plug. On the front of the unit is a two gang, 13 amp mains socket into which the sound equipment is plugged. The sound level in the venue is monitored by the built in microphone and if your preselected level is exceeded the amber and red LEDs on the unit begin to light sequentially as a warning. If the sound remains too loud for a period of approximately 10 seconds mains power is disconnected from the sound equipment for 10 seconds and then automatically reconnected; thus no user intervention is required for operation. The trigger level is adjustable without the need to remove the front cover (portable version only - fixed version has internal adjustment to prevent tampering) and comprehensive instructions are supplied to facilitate easy calibration. Adjustment of the sensitivity to bass and treble frequencies can be carried out if necessary, similarly the trigger / reset time period

Lime Technologies offer free telephone technical support to assist with installation and setup, although this is seldom required as the system is so easy to install - just plug in and play the music.
