Recent News at Lime Technologies
A customer had installed new powered speakers in their restaurant which had a Lime Technologies VCX Automatic Volume Limiter installed
The Issue
With the new speakers, the volume level was extremely low even with the volume controls turned up to maximum.
This was probably because the amplifiers in the new speakers had a lower gain than the originals.
Resolution
The VCX was being used with the optional microphone so all that was required was increasing the output level of the VCX using the control on the back panel.
The security panel needed to be removed first to gain access to the controls.
The original limit setting, set using the mic gain control,
should not have needed to be altered as the microphone measures the actual dB level in the room.
