SPL2-TS Auto Volume Limiter with Timer

The Dateq SPL2-TS micro-controller continuously measures the input level and attenuates the output level as much as necessary to keep the sound level within the given threshold. Because the SPL2-TS is not a peak limiter the dynamics of the music remain unchanged.

The SPL2TS has the ability to adjust the sound-level (actual output-level) and the threshold (input sensitivity). All the connectors, the sound level and threshold controller are inaccessible after the limiter is sealed. The SPL2-TS has a built in clock / timer. This makes it possible to program a different sound level at different periods of the day. The built in calendar also allows you to program a list of 10 dates to switch the limiter to bypass automatically. All these settings can be adjusted by using the PC software.

This is the lowest cost automatic volume limiter that allows up to 3 different sound levels to be set when measuring the level through the signal cables (not with a microphone).
